I always associate ‘green’ with plants.
Before I went to Nantes, I was curious about how Nantes treated ‘green’. In Nantes, I found that people saw ‘green’ from various perspectives.
For them, ‘green’ means something that goes with nature, nature itself and a rest. The green of fountains, the green of roadside trees that guide vehicles and people, the green of industrial relics that tells the history of Nantes, the green of pavilions in harmony with plants… I want to show the greens that came to me as something new during the week.

나에게 ‘green’은 식물이었다. 낭트에 가기 전, 그곳은 어떤 식으로 ‘green’을 다루었을지에 대한 궁금증을 안고 출발했다. 내게 식물로만 인식되었던 ‘green’을 그들은 다양한 시각으로 바라보며, 그 안에 공존하고 있었다. 그들에게 ‘green’은 자연과 함께하는 것이며, 그 자체로 자연이 되고, 안식이 되었다.
시원함을 주는 분수대의 green, 길을 안내하는 가로수의 green, 낭트의 역사를 알려주는 산업유물(크레인)의 green, 사이사이의 식물과 어우러지는 파빌리온의 green. 일주일간 내게 새로움을 안겨준 green을 보여주고자 한다. “여러분의 green은 어떤 green인가요?”
