About Artist
I am an Interior Architecture student from Germany, and 23 years old and currently in my 3rd year of my studies.
During my studies I developed interest in architecture, art and design. It allows my mind to set free and offers the chance to have an active influence of the surrounding, environment and the future.
For my artwork and design I try to use as much second-hand material as possible, because I really care about the environmental pollution and want to reduce my contribution to a minimum.
As an Artist I have the choice to choose the material. For this reason, I mostly get my material from the recycling-centre or from my surrounding.
Coincidence and imperfection are part of my work and requires adaption and an open mind. I see beauty in the individualism this brings to art and design as well. Being aware and attentive about the people is necessary to see their need and adapt the design of products and spaces to it. I want to create design which does not just look good. It must fit to the specific desire and need of the user since this will also have effects on their future and health.

저는 독일에서 인테리어 건축을 공부하고 있으며, 현재 23살이고, 대학교 3학년에 재학중입니다.
학업을 이어가던 중 저는 건축과 미술, 디자인에 관심을 갖게 되었습니다. 그것들이 제 마음을 자유롭게 해줄 뿐만 아니라, 저를 둘러싼 주변과 환경 및 미래에 적극적으로 영향력을 행사할 기회를 준다는 점 때문이었습니다.
저는 제 작품과 디자인에 재활용 소재를 최대한 활용하고자 하는데요, 환경문제에 깊은 관심을 갖고 있기도 하지만, 또 한편으로는 이러한 실천을 통해 조금이라도 제가 환경오염에 기여하는 것을 줄이고 싶기 때문입니다.
예술가로서 저에게는 작품의 소재를 선택할 수 있는 권한이 주어진 만큼, 저는 재료를 선택하는데 있어서 최대한 재활용 센터나 주변에서 찾아볼 수 있는 것을 활용하는 편입니다. 우연의 일치와 불완전함은 제 작품의 일부로서 제 작품에 대한 수용과 오픈 마인드를 요구합니다. 저는 개인주의(individualism) 안의 미를 발견하고, 이를 제 작품이나 디자인 안에 끌어와 표현하고자 합니다.
사람들을 주시하고 또 그들에게 관심을 기울인다는 것은, 사람들의 필요를 포착하고 그 필요를 상품이나 공간을 디자인할 때 반영하는 작업을 요구합니다. 저는 단순히 보기 좋은 디자인을 제작하는 것을 목표로 하지 않습니다. 디자인은, 그것을 사용하는 이의 미래와 건강에까지 영향을 끼치는 만큼, 사용자 개개인의 구체적 욕구와 필요를 충족시킬 수 있어야 할 것입니다.
