Deciding not to become a horse trainer (or a chemist/ actress/ graphic designer) – I somehow found my way into the art scene.
My artistic career began with studying media design and working in a b2b advertising agency simultaneously. Following my bachelor's degree, I took a look at political education and worked with a motion designer on artistic and commercial projects. Since I wanted to entirely focus on my artistic work instead of working for clients, I decided to start my current study in time based on media in Linz, Austria.
Preferably in the form of video and installation, I pick apart, categorize and abstract the various shades of human pain reincarnated in architecture, war, narcissism, and nothing less than the pure human existence – the results are reduced, raw, and definitely not restrained. The exchange semester in Seoul got me further interested in Korea as a divided nation and society towards more recent history (eg Korean War and military service) and its official and educational communication.

말 조련사(혹은 화학자/ 배우/ 그래픽 디자이너)가 되지 않기로 결심하면서 나는 예술계에 들어오게 되었다.
나의 예술적 행보는 미디어 디자인을 공부하는 동시에 b2b 광고 회사와 일하는 것에서부터 시작했다. 학사과정 이후 나는 정치 교육을 살펴보면서 모션 디자이너와 예술적이고 상업적인 프로젝트를 진행하였다. 고객과 일하는 것 대신에 예술 작업에 집중하기를 바라면서 나는 오스트리아 린츠에서 공부하기 시작했다.
비디오와 설치의 형태로, 나는 건축, 전쟁, 나르시시즘, 그리고 순수한 인간 존재에서 환생한 인간 고통의 다양한 색조를 선별하고 분류하고 추상화한다. 결과는 축소되고, 날 것이며 확실히 구속되지 않는다. 서울에서의 교환 학기를 통해 나는 더 최근의 역사(예: 한국 전쟁과 군 복무)와 공식적이고 교육적인 소통이 분단된 국가와 사회에 관심 갖게 되었다.
